     In ancient mythology the god, 'Faunus' bestowed fruitfulness over fields, flocks, and herds.  This fictitious character drolly resembles our genial ambition to care for and raise alpacas.
 
     Our herd's recent growth and refocus phase emphasizes the practices of making intentional and results-driven herd improvement decisions.  We do this with a network of honest, experienced alpaca breeders and animal care experts.

     Professionally, Oscar is also a Large Animal Dietary Consultant with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science.  Oscar can advise and answer questions regarding forage analysis (hay samples), feeding proteins, digestibly, general mineral/vitamin importance, and much more.  Marie was raised on a dairy farm, works in management of an agricultural equipment manufacturer, holding a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Resource Economics.  Ventures in agriculture are our strong point.

      We owned and operated our own dairy herds and turned to Alpacas to stay connected with agriculture while pursuing other professional interests within the industry.  Together, we have earned awards from the PA Farm Bureau for business practices and agriculture advocacy.
